Prodemo

What we store, and what Claude does in your app

Prodemo runs a browser on our server, signed in to your app as you, so that Claude can record a task there. This page says plainly what that involves.

What we store

  • Your email address, to sign you in. It is held by Supabase, our sign-in provider, in the United States.
  • Your app sign-in. When you sign in to your app on our secure page, we keep the cookies, site storage and local database for the site you signed in on and the site it took you to, and nothing from any other site. It is encrypted with AES-256, stored on our server in London, and deleted automatically 7 days after you signed in.
  • Your videos. Each video is kept for 7 days, then deleted. Until then, anyone who has the link can watch it.
  • An activity log. For each step Claude takes we record which tool it used, the element it aimed at, the page address, how long it took and any error. The element can include a name from the page, such as an issue title. We use the log to find and fix problems. It is kept until you delete your account.

What we never store

  • Your password. What you type on the sign-in page goes straight to the browser and is not recorded. It never enters the chat, and Claude never sees it.
  • What is on your pages. To find its way, Claude is sent the structure of each page and sometimes a screenshot. We pass these to Claude and do not save them. They become part of your conversation with Claude, under Anthropic's terms.
  • Text Claude types into your app. It is not written to the activity log. It will appear in a video if it is typed during a recording.

How to delete it

  • A saved sign-in: delete it from your dashboard, or ask Claude to delete your saved sign-in for that app. It is removed straight away.
  • A video: it is deleted after 7 days. To remove one sooner, write to contact address to come.
  • Your account and everything with it: choose Delete my account on your dashboard. That removes your account, your saved sign-ins, your videos and your entries in the activity log.

What Claude will not do

Prodemo reads the label of anything Claude is about to click or confirm, and refuses the step if it looks destructive.

  • Always refused: deleting, removing, moving to trash, signing out, and paying, upgrading or subscribing.
  • Refused unless switched on for your account: archiving, sending and inviting. If one is switched on, Claude must tell you what will happen and wait for your yes before recording it.

This check works from labels and key presses. It is a safeguard, not a guarantee, which is one reason to use a test or demo account.

What to expect while Claude works

  • It explores first. Claude opens pages, menus and dialogs in your account to learn the route. It is told to stop before any final confirming step, and to close what it opened.
  • The recording is real. When Claude records, the task actually happens, once. A video of creating an issue creates that issue.
  • It can take a few minutes. Claude takes up to 60 exploring steps per video, then the recording takes about a minute.
  • Use a test or demo account. While Prodemo is in testing, do not connect an account where a mistake would matter.

Who can see what

  • The person who runs Prodemo can access the server and the activity log.
  • Our hosting providers, Fly.io and Supabase, store the data described above on our behalf.
  • Claude sees the pages it works on, as part of your own Claude conversation.
